Małgorzata works on

Mondays 8:00-15:00

I am a psychologist and a certified cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist (certificate no. PTTPB 1186, EABCT 93), and a graduate of a four-year training programme at the Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy School at SWPS University. I hold a degree in Psychology from the University of St Andrews (UK) and an additional degree in Business Psychology from SWPS University in Warsaw.

In my daily work, I provide individual psychotherapy for adults, both in person and online.

I specialise in working with people who experience:

  • chronic stress and anxiety, including those related to work and life changes
  • low mood, especially in the context of somatic illnesses or as an adjustment reaction to a new diagnosis
  • sleep difficulties (insomnia, trouble falling asleep)
  • psychosomatic problems, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue
  • recurring emotional difficulties, low mood, or repetitive patterns in relationships and thinking that significantly limit their lives

My therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). Together with my clients, we set goals, explore thoughts, emotions, bodily reactions, behaviours, and the broader context. I teach ways to modify thinking patterns and behaviours — offering support and guidance while forming a collaborative partnership with each person I work with. My role is to help them see things from a new perspective and use evidence-based methods to bring about meaningful change.

I have a particular interest in schema therapy, and I integrate its elements into my work whenever they may benefit a particular client. I regularly attend supervision and professional training courses, and I am a member of the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (PTTPB).

In the past, I have worked at the Psycho-Oncology Outpatient Clinic of the National Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, as well as in several private practices. I also completed clinical placements at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw and at the Mazovian Specialist Health Centre in Tworki.

Why do I do this work?
I believe psychotherapy is a process of building new skills — of understanding oneself better, responding more flexibly to challenges, and living a meaningful life. My aim is to help people regain balance and, at the same time, to show that psychology offers knowledge worth exploring and applying in everyday life.

If you would like to learn more about starting therapy, book a consultation, or ask a question, please feel free to get in touch.
I work in both Polish and English.
